Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. She began her career on the soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she had many supporting roles in primetime TV. Andrea Navedo is an American actress singer born on 10 October 1977 in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo first began acting professionally in daytime dramas. From 1995 to 1997 she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. The show was relaunched as in the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she appeared in only a small role on the show in Girl 6 and then went on to appear in New York Undercover. Navedo appeared as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the year after. Navedo was a part of NBC's crime-drama Law & Order for a frequent role as detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. He starred later on in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages, Blue Bloods as well as Blue Bloods. Navedo played in a range of films, including El Cantante (The Cantante) and Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 until 2013. Superfast! was her first film. In 1996 she made her first appearance in film with a role in Girl 6. She later played a role as a guest in New York Undercover (1996) and The District. In 2001 Navedo co-starred in the action film Double Take.
